A post-project lessons learned document notes that the SOW's exclusions list didn't cover a common client request type, and recommends adding it explicitly to the template for future projects of the same type.

Why it matters for agencies

Scope disputes tend to repeat across projects unless the specific gap that caused them gets fixed in the underlying template or process. A lessons learned document is what turns "that project was a mess" into a concrete fix that prevents the same mess on the next one.
