Is writing extra blog posts out of scope for a web design project?
Yes. Content writing — and any monthly quota of it — is a content/SEO retainer deliverable, not a design one, even on a project that included setting up the blog itself.
If a design project included building a blog section, the client sometimes assumes ongoing content — actually writing posts, on a schedule — comes with it. Building the template and writing the ongoing content are different deliverables entirely.
